SQUASH BOOKING RULES
- Playing sessions of 45 minutes duration may be booked up to 3 weeks in advance on the booking sheets provided. There is nolimit on the number of bookings that a member may make but the Committee reserves the right to impose restrictions in the event of persistent abuse.
- Only 1 name per booking need be entered ; where 2 are given the first shall be responsible for all charges.
- One booking stamp must be affixed to the booking sheet for allpeak time sessions played, irrespective of whether the court has been booked in advance. The peak times are currently specified as 5.45pm onwards, Monday to Friday, but may be varied at the discretion of the Squash Committee. No stamp is required for sessions before 5.45pm on weekdays or at weekends; one name secures the booking.
- Names entered on the booking sheet without a stamp for peak time sessions shall not constitute a valid booking and may be booked byany other member unless, for whatever reason, stamps are not available. In such circumstances stamps must be affixed with 48 hours of their becoming available again.
- Peak time booking fees are payable before going on court . Any such fees not paid on the same day shall be charged at double the standard rate.
- Where bookings are made but the court is not used, a fine ofdouble the cost of playing (ie lights + booking fee when appropriate) will be levied unless at least 48 hours notice is given.
- Members may introduce guests on payment of the appropriate guest fee (currently £3 per session) in addition to other normal charges (ie light + booking when appropriate). Guest fees not paid on the same day shall be charged at double the standard rate. Any one guest may only play during peak hours 4 times in a calendar month.
